2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using ITAD Tools:
- Malware and harmful code: Uploading, transmitting, or distributing viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious software through the platform.
- Scraping and automated extraction: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to extract data from the platform beyond normal tool usage, without our prior written consent.
- Circumventing security: Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features, access controls, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms of the platform.
- Unauthorized access: Accessing or attempting to access other users' accounts, data, or any part of the platform's infrastructure that you are not authorized to use.

- Interference: Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or that disrupts or degrades the Service for other users.
3. Rate Limits
To ensure fair access and platform stability, ITAD Tools enforces rate limits on API endpoints and tool usage. These limits vary by subscription tier and endpoint type.
Automated requests that exceed published rate limits may be temporarily throttled or blocked. Persistent attempts to circumvent rate limiting constitute a violation of this policy.
If your legitimate business needs require higher rate limits, please contact us at support@itadtools.com to discuss your requirements.
4. Account Suspension
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in enforcement actions including, but not limited to:
- Warning: A written notice identifying the violation and requesting corrective action.
- Temporary suspension: Suspension of account access for a defined period while the violation is investigated.
- Permanent termination: Permanent removal of your account and all associated data for severe or repeated violations.
Investigation Process
When a potential violation is identified, we will:
- Review the relevant activity logs and evidence
- Notify the account holder of the suspected violation (unless doing so would compromise an ongoing investigation or pose a security risk)
- Provide the account holder a reasonable opportunity to respond before taking permanent action, except in cases requiring immediate suspension to protect the platform or other users
Appeals
If your account has been suspended or terminated, you may appeal the decision by emailing support@itadtools.com with the subject line "Account Appeal". Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at support@itadtools.com with the subject line "AUP Violation Report". Please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, any relevant URLs or account information, and supporting evidence.
All reports are treated confidentially and will be investigated promptly.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, platform capabilities, or applicable regulations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users via platform notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
