Under the Hood
How It Works
The tool operates on a scheduled scanning architecture using APScheduler. Weekly scans browse auction listings through Playwright browser automation (with optional VPN rotation for IP diversity). Each auction's current bid price, time remaining, and module specifications are extracted and stored in a MySQL database. The price history engine tracks how bids change over the life of each auction, building trend data for common module types. Real-time bid monitoring watches active auctions and sends email alerts when prices drop below configured thresholds. The dashboard displays price trends, active auctions, and historical averages for each memory type.
