How It Works
The tool implements a multi-source lookup architecture. The primary engine queries HPE's PartSurfer database through both API calls and browser automation (Playwright) for cases where the API doesn't return complete data. Bidirectional lookup means you can input any type of HP part number (option, spare, model, or assembly) and the system will find all related part numbers of every other type. The HPE Memory Support Matrix integration scrapes HPE's compatibility database to identify which memory modules are supported by specific server models. A comprehensive drives database (282KB JSON) provides instant lookups for storage components. Results are cached to avoid duplicate API calls, and batch processing handles large part number lists efficiently.
