Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 8, 2026
Our Commitment
ITAD Tools is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Measures Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and semantic elements throughout the platform
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, including skip navigation links to bypass repeated content
- ARIA Labels: Navigation menus, buttons, and interactive elements include appropriate ARIA attributes
- Form Labels: All form inputs are properly associated with descriptive labels
- Alt Text: Images include descriptive alternative text
- Color Independence: Information is not conveyed by color alone; we use text labels and icons alongside color indicators
- Responsive Design: The platform is usable across a wide range of screen sizes and devices
- Focus Indicators: Interactive elements have visible focus states for keyboard users
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Some older content or third-party integrations may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- PDF certificates may have limited accessibility; we are working on improving this
- Some data visualization elements may require alternative access methods
We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility issues.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
Enforcement Procedure
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our platform, we want to resolve it promptly:
- Submit a report: Email admin@itadtools.com with the subject line "Accessibility Issue" and describe the barrier you experienced, including the page URL and the assistive technology you are using.
- Internal review: Our team will acknowledge your report within 2 business days and complete an internal review within 7 business days.
- Resolution or workaround: We will provide a fix, a workaround, or a timeline for resolution. If a fix requires significant development work, we will provide an interim alternative access method where possible.
- Escalation: If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to our management team by emailing admin@itadtools.com with the subject line "Accessibility Escalation." Escalated issues are reviewed by senior leadership within 5 business days.
Third-Party Content
Our platform integrates with third-party services whose accessibility is outside our direct control. We have made efforts to select accessible third-party tools, but some limitations may exist:
- Stripe checkout: Payment processing is handled by Stripe's hosted payment pages. Stripe maintains its own accessibility standards, but the checkout experience may differ from the rest of our platform.
- Embedded content: Some external content embedded in our platform (such as third-party widgets or iframes) may have limited accessibility. We work with our partners to address known issues.
If you encounter accessibility issues with any third-party content on our platform, please let us know so we can work with the provider to improve the experience.
Accessibility Roadmap
We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of ITAD Tools. Our planned improvements include:
- PDF certificate accessibility: Improving the accessibility of generated PDF data destruction certificates, including proper tagging, reading order, and alternative text for all visual elements.
- Enhanced screen reader support for data tables: Adding more comprehensive ARIA labels, row and column headers, and summary descriptions to complex data tables throughout the platform, particularly in health check reports and device batch views.
- Automated accessibility testing: Integrating accessibility testing tools into our development workflow to catch issues before they reach production.
This roadmap is reviewed and updated quarterly. If you have suggestions for accessibility improvements, we welcome your input at admin@itadtools.com.
